"So, what's with that symbol, anyways?"

- Dave Littler, Arbiter-General, July 30th, 2001

That symbol you see on the navigation bar on the left. I call it the Transcender. It's a simple, striking symbol, which can easily be reproduced and made into a pin or a pendant or what-have-you.

Basically, the symbolism can be explained as such: The circle in the centre represents the individual. That's you. The circle surrounding it is the external limitations imposed upon the individual by the society around them. Artificial boundaries. Obstacles. The rays which extend out from the individual and transcend these boundaries are symbolic of our drive to grow past and beyond those limitations. In other words, it's a symbol of strength. And defiance. And our unwillingness to accept the rules which the world drops in our laps.

It's a symbol of our will to grow and think outside the box. Or, if you will, outside the ring.
