I dreamed I was fighting for my life on a trail out in the woods.

It was early evening; the sky was dim but not yet dark, and I was gathering my equipment for an ypcoming battle which I knew to be inevitable. There was no sense of fear or dread to it; I had a sense of detatchment from the events to come which made it seem more like a game than anything else. In fact, my equipment seemed rather overtly video-gamey; I had a strangely curved machete-like sword in a scabbard strapped to my lower back which I kept of fingering, I had a pair of lightsabres in holsters on either hip, and a series of badges which I took to have magical properties which would be usefull in combat.

Upon duly preparing myself, I began stalking down the path in search of my opponent. Cresting a small hill and rounding a bend, I caught sight of him: He looked emaciated, withered like a corpse with brown, leathery, mummified skin, and he was naked to the waist, with a pair of black pants and holsters much like my own. He had wild, stringy black hair, and his mouth and eyes were just empty holes in his head. As I charged him, I pulled my lightsabres, one in each hand, and activated them. I then experienced my first moment of fear as he drew an identical pair and brandished one in each hand, also. Deciding I had nothing to gain by retreating from such a foe, I steeled myself and dove into battle.

The fight was surprisingly brief, as I cut him down before he he could land a blow against me. I stooped to the ground to collect his weapons as he lay dead on the ground. I then stood up and looked around.

Off to my left was a wire fence concealed by some trees, and beyond that, a road. I made my way through to the other side, and there spotted a black van. As I approached it, a door slid open on it's side, and a man in black sunglasses and a dark business suit leaned out. He menacingly informed me that I had left the designated game area, and that such infractions would not long be tolerated. I didn't care for what the fellow had to say; it made me feel trapped, and I prefered the freedom of being outside his "designated game area". I felt suddenly like a prisoner.

Then I woke up.
