It was late at night, and I was a little bit lost. In this dream, I wasn’t working at the location I actually work at, but rather at some remote location off in the wilds of Langley or somewhere; it was a long trip from home to there, which involved taking the bus, and it was an isolated location, far from almost anywhere; only one bus route would get me even close. I had a vague image in my head of this place; it looked like some dab, flat rectangular building with a glass tollbooth out in front of it.

I had missed the bus which would have gotten me to work on time, and I was panicing a little. I decided I would take another bus headed in the same direction and hope for the best. As another bus approached, I hopped on, and rode it for a while. After what I suppose was a few minutes, I realized that I didn’t recognize the neighborhood we were driving through; there were many hills and tall trees on either side of the road, with no other cars going in either direction. It felt like it was very late at night. I realized also that I should ask the bus driver’s advice for getting where I was going.

I headed up to the front of the bus and began to ask the driver about getting to work, but then I realized I couldn’t remember what the place was called. In fact, I couldn’t remember almost anything about it. Nor could I remember what bus normally took me there, or anything about the neighborhood which it was located in. This really should have tipped me off to the fact that I was having a dream; I couldn’t remember these things because none of these facts actually existed. It had no name, there were no physical traits for it, no route which would get me there, etc. Instead, it just frustrated and confused me, as I tried to come up with some means of conveying to the driver where I was trying to get to. I tried to suggest radioing the bus which I normally took to work, but couldn’t remember what number it was.

If anything more happened before I woke up, I don’t remember it.
