I dreamed that BJ came to see me about The Drifter scripts and storyboards we've been working on. Specifically, he was showing me storyboards he''d drawn up for The Drifter Dines Out, and he was freaking out, saying that he'd givenn a great deal of thought to how unpreppared for this sort of thing, going on about how all sorts of things would need to be changed and re-written before it would be ready to be filmed. He was saying it would be months, if not years before we could do this. I felt very angry and betrayed, because I knew that if BJ had decided this, there was no way I'd be able to dissuade him, and all our hard work and effort was for nothing.

If I dreamed anything else before I woke up, I don't remember.

[Update - May 24th, 2002: BJ told me recently that he considers the first two Drifter films he shot to be a "Three hundred dollar dress rehearsal"; that they weren't good enough for release, that he wasn't ready to REALLY do the Drifter films. Hunh.]
